Netflix on Wednesday announced plans to host its first-ever global fan event, dubbed “TUDUM,” on September 25.
“Tudum or not Tudum?” Sex Education star Ncuti Gatwa asks in the streamer’s comedic teaser for the event, which explains that the name spells out Netflix’s signature “play” sound.
More than 70 films and series will be featured throughout the three-hour virtual event, where talent from Netflix’s fan-favorite properties will unveil first looks, new trailers and exclusive clips during interactive panels and conversations.
On the series front, fans can expect discussions with the creators and stars of shows including Stranger Things, Bridgerton, The Witcher, La Casa De Papel (Money Heist) and Cobra Kai, among several others.
As for the blockbuster side, Netflix lists several recent releases, including Extraction and The Old Guard, starring Charlize Theron, as well as a multitude of upcoming flicks like The Harder They Fall, with Jonathan Majors and Idris Elba, Don’t Look Up, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence, and Red Notice, with Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot, to name a few.
The virtual livestream will begin at 12 p.m. ET across Netflix’s YouTube, Twitter and Twitch accounts. Check out Netflix’s announcement for the full list of series and films included in the event.
