Netflix Reportedly Acquires 50 Cent's Documentary About Diddy

50 Cent‘s documentary series about Sean “Diddy” Combs has reportedly been acquired by Netflix.

TMZ reports that the docuseries was picked up by the streamer after “a massive bidding war” between other streaming services and several networks. The untitled multi-part project is produced via Fif’s G-Unit Film and Television Studios, and will focus on the sexual assault allegations made against Diddy. A release date is yet to be announced, but audiences can expect the docuseries to premiere “sooner than later.”

The news arrives just after model Crystal McKinney filed a civil lawsuit against the music mogul for allegedly sexually assaulting her in 2003. Just prior to the suit, Diddy was forced to address a 2016 hotel footage that saw him physically assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie; she accused him of rape and physical abuse in a November 2023 lawsuit, which specified the incident caught in the hotel CCTV footage that leaked.
