Netflix Drops Trailer for LeBron James-Produced Basketball Film ‘Hustle’ Starring Adam Sandler

Netflix has dropped off the official trailer for its upcoming LeBron James-produced basketball movie Hustle, starring Adam Sandler. The film, which also stars Queen Latifah, Robert Duvall and Ben Foster, sees Sandler play a Philadelphia 76ers scout named Stanley Sugarman.

“Love you all,” Sandler wrote on Instagram and Twitter alongside the new trailer.

“After discovering a once-in-a-lifetime player with a rocky past abroad, a down on his luck basketball scout (Sandler) takes it upon himself to bring the phenom to the States without his team’s approval,” reads the official synopsis. “Against the odds, they have one final shot to prove they have what it takes to make it in the NBA.”

The preview sees Sandler’s character expressing his desire to become someone important in the league, stating, “Being the guy who finds the guy matters in this business.”

Aside from the aforementioned cast, real-life Sixers including Tobias Harris, Matisse Thybulle, Tyrese Maxey and coach Doc Rivers will also appear in the movie.

Hustle premieres exclusively on Netflix on June 8. Watch the official trailer above.
