YoungBoy Never Broke Again will reportedly be taking a six-month break following the release of his most recent project, Colors.
The rapper’s producer Jason “Cheese” Goldberg took to Instagram to make the announcement, as well as share his gratitude to fans. “PSA: A select few songs probably (maybe) will drop from now until then but Top will not be seen or heard from into his album approximately #6months from now,” he shared. “We have some amazing songs for you thank you for everything #HealingTime #RockPeace #ForeverBro.”
NBA YoungBoy did not announce this himself, but he did reveal in December 2021 that he wanted to quit music. He spoke with DJ Akademiks during a Clubhouse conversation and he shared that he has had that feeling for a while now. “I lost love for music and it brings too many problems,” he admitted. “I been waiting to stop making music for about one and a half years.”
Elsewhere in music, The Weeknd has broken a Spotify record with over 86 million monthly listeners.
