YoungBoy Never Broke Again opens at No. 9 on this week’s Billboard 200 at with I Rest My Case.
The project earned 29,000 equivalent album units in its first week, including 27,000 in streaming equivalent album units (39.59 million on-demand official streams of the 19 tracks) and 1,000 in album sales and track equivalent album units each. I Rest My Case gives YB his 13th top 10 entry and 28th effort on the Billboard 200 since his August 2017 debut.
Elsewhere on the chart, SZA logs her fifth consecutive week at No. 1 as SOS experiences a less than 1% decrease from last week and is the first album since Adele’s 30 to spend its first five week atop the chart. SOS is also the first R&B album by a solo woman to log five weeks at No. 1 since Mariah Carey’s Daydream between 1995 to 1996.
Taylor Swift, Metro Boomin, Drake and 21 Savage and Morgan Wallen stay put at Nos. 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 respectively, followed by Zach Bryan at No. 7, Lil Bay at No. 8 and Harry Styles at No. 10.
Elsewhere in music, SZA dropped a four-track bundle for “Kill Bill.”
