Florra blossoms downtown

The Campbell Chamber of Commerce is hosting the grand opening of Florra on Friday, March 3. Florra, which carries natural self-care and lifestyle products, is located at 350 E. Campbell Ave.

The store “offers a curated collection of products that are good for the body and the earth. We believe in the ritual of indulgent self-care as a way to bring health and wellness to every aspect of the mind, body, and soul.”

During the grand opening, local vendors will offer free aura photography, live DJ set, champagne, popcorn and sweets.

The free event runs 5-7 p.m., with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 5:30 p.m. Registration isn’t required but those who RSVP to https://www.shopflorra.com/grand-opening-rsvp will receive 10% off everything in the store.

Energy efficiency awards

There have never been more incentives for South Bay residents to make small, eco-friendly changes to their homes. Through a new program, Silicon Valley Clean Energy will reward community members who have ditched old appliances—whether gas-powered or just inefficient—in favor of more efficient and greener options. Residents can apply for the award, up to $10,000, through March 6. The agency will choose a variety of applicants to spotlight and award.

SVCE is also offering rebates through its FutureFit Homes program, which grants customers up to $8,000 if they replace gas water heaters and furnaces with electric options. To learn more about the rebate program, visit https://svcleanenergy.org/home-rebates.
