Nas has shared the cover art and release date for a new album.
The sequel to his 2020 LP of the same name, King’s Disease II is out from Mass Appeal Records at midnight EST on August 6, marking the 14th studio album from the influential rapper.
Its acclaimed predecessor King’s Disease, cinched Nas’ first-ever Grammy for Best Rap Album earlier this year.
Last month, Nas shared an expanded 16-track version of his sophomore album It Was Written in celebration of its 25th anniversary. The new edition includes two new cuts: “Silent Murder” and “Street Dreams (Bonus Verse).”
Nas was also among the rappers that broke ground at the construction site of the future Universal Hip Hop Museum in May. Located in the South Bronx, the museum is scheduled to open in 2023.
