There’s nothing that makes me quite as excited as the discovery of an affordable item that could easily pass as designer. This season, this moment came in the form of a jumper courtesy of high-street stalwart Marks and Spencer. Of course, good ol’ M&S has always been prized for its cashmere offering, but when I saw this particular striking ombre number, I couldn’t help but yelp with excitement. (It’s my job, okay?) Naturally it sold out within a week, but we’re happy to announce that it’s finally back in stock!
Coming in a statement-making shade of red with a classic crew-neck silhouette, this jumper just feels so premium. Perhaps it’s the fact that it’s impactful without being obviously “trend-led,” and the cashmere fabric makes it feel undeniably luxurious. I also think it’s the sort of style that will look good for many seasons to come.
Both WWW editor Emma Spedding and I were desperate to try the jumper on IRL, and luckily, we got that chance. I can confirm it looks even better in person. Just to prove its versatility, we’ve styled the M&S knit a number of different ways, all perfect for the autumn season. Scroll down to see our outfits and to shop the jumper.
