Motorola's Razr+ Gives the Classic Flip Phone a New Lease on Life

Motorola has introduced the next generation of its nostalgic Razr flip phone with a premium modern update, titled the Motorola Razr+, debuting later this month.

The all-new phone boasts a 3.6-inch external pOLED display, which wraps around the device’s two camera sensors on its front. Featuring a 12MP main camera sensor with dual-pixel PDAF and a 13MP ultra-wide lens, the phone is optimized for content creation and prioritizes stability with OIS, per the brand.

Inside, the Razr+ houses a 6.9-inch FHD+ pOLED screen, offering 2,640 x 1,080 resolution. Additionally, a 32MP selfie camera can shoot 4K video at 60 fps, and the device can be folded for hands-free video and photos.

The phone runs on a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a standard 365GB of storage. Like other Motorola models, the Razr+ contains a 3,800mAh battery, which supports both 30W TurboPower and 5W wireless charging.

The design features a glass frame with either a matte finish or vegan leather on its back cover. Motorola is launching the device in array of colors, including Pantone’s color of the year, Viva Magenta, as well as Infinite Black and Glacier Blue.

Motorola’s Razr+ will be available for pre-sale beginning June 16 before officially releasing on June 23 for $999 USD. Take a look at the new phone in the gallery above, and learn more on Motorola’s website.
