Mizuno has introduced the latest M.CRAFT OMOI putters, featuring a substantial head weight to maximize moment of inertia for enhanced stability.
The Mizuno M.CRAFT OMOI putters – “omoi” is a Japanese adjective for “heavy” but can also imply it being “dense” – are forged from 1025 carbon steel and CNC milled. OMOI models arrive in three classic head types: OMOI 01 is a slant neck blade with a 60-degrees of toe hang and a 3/4 shaft offset. The OMOI 02 is a plumber’s neck blade with a 40-degree toe hang and a full-shaft offset. Both the 01 and 02 putters weigh in at 370 grams. Lastly, the OMOI 03 is a full mallet with a face-balanced, full-shaft offset and weighs slightly more at 383 grams. In addition, every putter has a weight kit containing a pair of three-gram and 13-gram weights that are interchangeable with an eight-gram suited as the typical setting.
Finishes available for these clubs are the avant-garde Double Nickel, Blue ION, and Black ION. There is also a choice of a blacked-out option featuring a KBS Tour Black Ion-plated shaft, Lamkin OMOI Sink Fit Pistol grip, and an M.CRAFT headcover.
Mizuno’s M.CRAFT OMOI putter retails for $350 USD and will be available on the official Mizuno website and authorized retail stores worldwide.
