Miss Out on Tom Brady’s Stretched Cadillac Escalade? Sylvester Stallone’s Is for Sale

Miss Out on Tom Brady’s Stretched Cadillac Escalade? Sylvester Stallone’s Is for Sale

There are 72 steps leading up to the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s entrance—you know, the ones a certain fictional boxer played by Sylvester Stallone hoofed up in Rocky? That’s not many steps, nor much of a distance, and neither is the 1,000 miles traveled by Stallone’s stretched Cadillac Escalade ESV limo that’s currently for sale by its builder.

While it might take you some sweat equity to mimic Rocky’s famous climb up the Philly museum’s steps, buying his low-mile Caddy only requires a cool $350,000. And you might even be able to drive the Escalade up those steps, too. Albeit, very carefully. That’s because its maker, Becker Auto Design, has added 20 inches to the wheelbase—stretching this Cadillac SUV beyond the Escalade ESV’s already yawning 130-inch span and surely impacting its ability to clear obstacles.

The stretch exclusively impacts rear-seat space, and Becker Auto Design totally overhauled the Cadillac’s aft quarters into a private jet–style isolation pod. There are three rear-facing seats and two business class-grade, forward-facing units stuffed way back in the Escalade’s tail. The buckets recline and feature deployable footrests, while the rear-facing seats’ lower cushions can be folded up out of the way for easier ingress and egress through the lengthened rear doors.

While reading the Escalade’s specification sheet might lead one to think of it as some sort of gaudy, overdone nightmare only Donald Trump could think up, the execution is, in reality, shockingly classy. Inside, there is a 43-inch television that doubles as a cabin divider (it sits between those rear-facing seats and the forward portion of the ‘Slade), while the color scheme and materials utilized throughout scream “Gulfstream V” and not “prom limo.”

Tom Brady recently sold his Becker Auto Design Escalade ESV, which was outfitted slightly differently. We won’t pit your celebrity affinities against one another, but it is worth pointing out that Stallone’s Cadillac is being sold for $350,000, and the GOAT’s was listed for $300,000. Apparently, Rocky’s unit cost $409,000 when new; Brady’s was just $350,000, and when sold it had 13,000 miles on the odometer. So, if you’re looking for a specially outfitted previous-generation Cadillac Escalade to be chauffeured around in that happens to have some Sly magic, this is your chance. Check out the listing over at Becker Auto Design.
