Miuccia Prada succeeded in her mission to revive the noughties miniskirt after its brief hiatus. It’s been one heck of a year since Miu Miu debuted the teeny micro mini, and it still remains the skirt style on everyone’s hips. With its increasing popularity, ultra-small skirts from denim to A-line to pleated variations continue to have a moment in the fashion world, even despite the best of the leg-baring weather being well behind us. The miniskirt as a concept is all well and good, but once you slip into one, one of the biggest dilemmas is assessing which shoes to wear.
School uniforms might have us believing that ballerinas are the sole shoe option for the short skirt, but there are many contenders to pair with teeny styles.
