MINI has officially introduced the Aceman, marking its entry into the crossover segment within the premium small car market. The Aceman, combining compact dimensions with spacious interiors, ushers in a new era of all-electric urban mobility for the brand.
The vehicle’s design philosophy, “Charismatic Simplicity,” mirrors the vision of MINI’s inventor, Sir Alec Issigonis, of maximizing interior space while minimizing external footprints. The Aceman stretches slightly over four meters, is made to accommodate five passengers and features an immersive digital user experience tailored for city navigation and more.
“MINI has once again raised the bar with the Aceman, enhancing our electric lineup with exhilarating digital advancements and dynamic performance,” stated Stefanie Wurst, Head of MINI. “This model is tailored for the bustling city environment but doesn’t shy away from weekend adventures, offering the versatility and comfort of a crossover.”
The new MINI crossover boasts an all-electric powertrain that promises the iconic MINI go-kart thrill, complemented by advanced assistance systems and a fresh aesthetic that stays true to MINI’s roots. With a base of sporty agility and a commanding presence, the Aceman is sure to turn heads.
Exterior features include a striking front design with distinctive LED headlights and a revamped octagonal grille that enhances its road stance. The Aceman’s length of 4.07 meters positions it between the MINI Cooper and the Countryman, optimized for nimble maneuverability in urban settings.
Inside the cabin, the Aceman adopts a minimalist approach with a high-resolution OLED display central to its operations. The display supports intuitive touch and voice commands, enhancing the driving experience with customizable settings and mood lighting.
The vehicle also boasts a range that can reach up to 250 miles on a single charge, according to the WLTP test cycle. The Aceman comes in two versions at launch: the Aceman E and the Aceman SE, the latter featuring a more potent electric motor and extended range capabilities.
