Metallica have confirmed new North American tour dates in 2025 with support from Pantera and Limp Bizkit.
An extension of their long-running “M72 World Tour,” this latest leg of concerts commences in April 2025 with an appearance at Sick New World Festival in Las Vegas. From there, Metallica will play stadiums in Toronto, Nashville, Philadelphia, Charlotte, Atlanta, Tampa, Houston, Santa Clara, Denver, and elsewhere. Additionally, they’ll headline two nights of the Sonic Temple Music Festival in Columbus, Ohio.
Tickets for Metallica’s newly announced 2025 North American tour go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, September 27th at 10:00 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster. The band will host a variety of ticket pre-sales in the days leading up to the public on-sale, including a pre-sale for members of its Fifth Member fan club on Monday, September 23rd and a Live Nation pre-sale on Thursday, September 26th (use access code SETLIST).

In the cities where Metallica will perform multiple nights, the band promises to play unique “no repeat” setlists at each show. The band is offering two-night ticket pages, as well as travel packages in addition to single-night tickets.
New for this leg of concerts, Metallica will also play one-off shows in Syracuse, NY; Landover, MD; and Blacksburg, VA — home of the Virginia Tech Hokies, who famously take the field to Metallica’s “Enter Sandman.” As with the case for Metallica’s multiple-night engagements, these one-off concerts promise the tour’s full production and massive in-the-round stage setup.
Beginning this weekend, Metallica will play a four-night run of shows at Foro Sol in Mexico City. Fans can look for last-minute tickets here.
