Megan Thee Stallion surprised fans during the second night of BTS‘ sold-out residency at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium to perform the “Butter” remix alongside the top-charting K-pop group.
“Everybody give it up for the boys! Thank y’all for having me,” Megan said to the crowd. “I’m feeling like a hot girl every season!”
BTS’ “Butter” comfortably resided in the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for nine weeks, before climbing back to the top spot in August when Megan hopped on the remix.
The Houston rapper was previously scheduled to perform the collaborative track with BTS at the 2021 American Music Awards last weekend but canceled her appearance prior to the event due to personal matters.
“Hotties I was so excited to go to the AMAs and perform with BTS, but due to an unexpected personal matter, I can no longer attend,” Megan wrote in a tweet. “I’m so sad! I really can’t wait to hit the stage with my guys and perform #BTS_Butter real soon!”
