Megan Thee Stallion is back with a new song titled “Boa,” the third single from her upcoming album and the latest in a string of snake-themed releases.
“Boa” was first announced by Megan this past week via a number of Instagram posts teasing the single with a vintage video game aesthetic. Today, it arrives alongside a cinematic music video depicting her as the star of a fictional game titled Curse of the Serpent Woman, which is played by three friends. Over the course of the video, though, as each friend dies in-game, Megan appears in their homes and kills them IRL.
One highlight comes when she literally offs a guy by sitting on his face, leaving the imprint of her behind on his smooshed head. Of course, throughout, Megan’s verses over the LilJuMadeDaBeat-produced beat demonstrate her prowess as a lyricist and performer, and the shots of her in revealing outfits — not to mention the graphic killings — earn the video its NSFW status. Watch it below.

The new single marks the third release from Megan’s upcoming yet-to-be-named studio album, following last November’s “Cobra” and January’s “Hiss.” Between the three songs, Megan seems to be on the top of her game. The Spiritbox-featuring remix of “Cobra” was named Heavy Song of the Week when it arrived, and likewise, “Hiss” earned recognition as Song of the Week as well.
The album’s due date is still unknown, though we know it will be the first release through Megan’s independent label Hot Girl Productions after a legal battle with her former label 1501 Certified Entertainment.
Meanwhile, Megan is gearing up to hit the road with her 2024 “Hot Girl Summer Tour,” which will take her to Chicago, New York City, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Houston, and more before wrapping in Washington DC this July. Check out her upcoming dates, and grab tickets here.
