It has already been ten years since Meek Mill’s debut studio album Dreams & Nightmares. Now to celebrate the acclaimed project, the Philadelphia native has announced a 10th-anniversary concert in his hometown.
Since its release in October of 2012, the album’s title track has remained a rap staple with fans from California to New York rapping the song in its entirety whenever it is played. Serving as one of the rapper’s most popular songs to date, “Dreams & Nightmares” is certified double platinum. Additionally, when the album was first released it debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
This past August, it was announced that Meek Mill joined forces with talent agency, WME, to help foster cultural leaders. The partnership is set to reveal a new strategic approach for providing opportunities to emerging entertainers.
In celebrating where it all began, Meek Mill’s anniversary concert is set to take place on November 26 at Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center. Tickets are set to go on sale on Wednesday, November 2 at 10:00 a.m. ET.
