Following the release of his fifth album Expensive Pain, Meek Mill has returned with a new music video for a front-running track, “Northside Southside,” featuring British rapper Giggs.
The visual first runs through the streets of London and into a clocktower before centering on Meek rapping next to a Rolls-Royce while surrounded by a masked posse. Following scenes of girls dancing and close-ups of cars, the video abruptly transitions to a dark clip of a fast-approaching underground train before entering the tube and honing in on a menacing individual wearing all-black at the end of the car. Switching back to the street, Giggs takes center stage to deliver his verse, before the video concludes with the duo looking into the camera on the road.
Aside from Giggs, the 18-track record features guest appearances from Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Kehlani, ASAP Ferg, Moneybagg Yo, Young Thug, Vory, Lil Uzi Vert and Brent Faiyaz. Meek has previously delivered several music videos for tracks on the album, including “Angels (RIP Lil Snupe),” “Expensive Pain,” “On My Soul,” “Intro (Hate On Me),” “Blue Notes 2,” “Sharing Locations” and “Flamerz Flow.”
