The Kelly Clarkson Show viewers looked at Kelly Clarkson through neon green and blue light beams during her latest Kellyoke cover of Pam Tillis‘ “Maybe It Was Memphis.”
Her dulcet vocals sure felt right to take over this ’90s country track, which joins her covers of Jo Dee Messina’s “Heads Carolina, Tails California” and Wynonna‘s “No One Else on Earth” from the last couple of months.
“Maybe it was Memphis/ Maybe it was southern summer nights/ Maybe it was you, maybe it was me/ But it sure felt right,” Clarkson bellows for the chorus.
