Shortly giving fans a first look at the game’s main villain, Square Enix has now dropped yet another trailer for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy over at the PlayStation Showcase 2021, this time throwing out a comedic yet action-packed look at Star-Lord and his band of misfits.

Shown on top of a catchy rock ‘n’ roll soundtrack, the two-and-a-half-minute clip shows off more of the game’s main characters and their personality traits, especially spotlighting a rather comedic Star-Lord that is very much reminiscent of James Gunn‘s take on the Guardians for Marvel Studios back in 2014. Aside from the protagonists, we also get closer looks at the Universal Church of Truth and Grand Unifier Raker, but the highlight for fans are no doubt the appearance of Cosmo the golden retriever astronaut as well as a glimpse at armored-up soldiers from the Nova Corps, a big component of both Star-Lord’s own arc and the first Guardians movie.

Check out the trailer above while you wait for the game’s release on October 26 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Switch and PC.

Elsewhere in gaming, Sony has released the first look at God of War:Ragnarök.
