Marvel Has Announced the Official Title for Its Upcoming 'Fantastic Four' Film

Marvel‘s anticipated panel at San Diego Comic-Con was full of surprises. Amongst them was the official reveal of the upcoming Fantastic Four film’s title. It was announced that the film, which is slated to land next summer, will be called Fantastic Four: Four Steps. At the panel, Marvel also announced Oscar winner Michael Giacchino as the composer on the film.

Matt Shakman is set to direct the film which stars Pedro Pascal as Mr. Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as the Human Torch and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as The Thing. The Fantastic Four were able to join the MCU after Disney acquired Fox. Earlier this week, Pascal shared the first cast photo on Instagram with the caption, “Our first mission.”

Alongside the main cast, John Malkovich and Paul Walter Hauser are also set to join while Eric Pearson, Josh Friedman, Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer will be penning the script. The Fantastic Four first hit the big screen in 2005, starring Chris Evans, Jessica Alba, Ioan Gruffudd and Michael Chiklis. Later, a 2015 reboot saw Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Bell, although less successful than the previous. This upcoming MCU version will see the film hit theaters on July 25, 2025. Stay tuned for more information closer to the date.
