Shortly after introducing a new Willen mini portable speaker for those on the go, Marshall has now updated all three of its home speakers: the Acton III, Stanmore III and Woburn III. With a re-engineered tweeters that are now angled outwards and updated waveguides, the speakers now offer a wider stereo soundstage than ever before, complemented by a new Placement Compensation feature that can correct its sound to take into account any reflective surfaces in its nearby surroundings.
Dynamic Loudness allows the three devices to adjust for consistent tonal balance, while an updated Bluetooth 5.2 keeps them future-proof, especially with over-the-air software updates via Marshall’s app. Rounding out the release is a shift by the company towards PVC-free construction, which now uses 70% recycled plastic and vegan materials only.
