Marshall Releases First ANC Wireless Earbuds

Marshall, known for its high-quality portable speakers, has released the Motif ANC, the company’s first earbuds equipped with active noise cancellation.

The Motif ANC sports a rugged aesthetic dressed in all-black with white branding accents and texturized surfaces. The earbuds are IPX-5 rated, meaning they can be rinsed in water, and the scratch-proof leather charging case is IPX-4 rated meaning it’s resistant to light water splash.

Claiming “the biggest sound in the smallest package,” the Motif ANC  brings to the table Marshall’s “thunderous” sound profile with consistent bass. The Marshall Bluetooth app allows users to further customize the equalizer as desired. For convenience, touch response functions are incorporated into the earbuds to control music playback, receive and end calls, and toggle between Transparency and ANC mode.

Each earbud holds 4.5 hours of playtime and the wireless charging case provides an additional 20 hours on a single charge. Additional features include auto-play and auto-pause when worn and removed, built-in dual microphones to reduce ambient input sounds, and three ear tip sizes.

The Motif ANC is now available for pre-order on the Marshall website for $199 USD and will ship on September 30. Updated versions of the Marshall MINOR and MODE earbuds are also available on the website for immediate purchase.

In case you missed it, Razer released its second-generation Hammerhead True Wireless earbuds.
