As news regarding the outrageous Mark Zuckerberg vs. Elon Musk cage match announced last month calms down, a new report is now noting the fight does not appear to be happening. According to exclusive audio heard by Reuters, during a company town hall, Zuckerberg told Meta employees he’s “not sure if it’s going to come together.”
Interestingly, the CEO’s note regarding the fight came during Meta’s discussion regarding the launch of its Twitter competition, Threads. Although Zuckerberg didn’t exactly say the fight is off, his statement seemingly notes that discussions for the bout have not been moving forward.
Despite the apparent standstill, Mark Zuckerberg has maintained his MMA training, with footage of him training exciting social media. The Meta CEO has been seen training with Alex Volkanovski, Lex Fridman, and more figures in the combat sports world.
In case you missed it, Justin Gaethje landed a head kick knockout on Dustin Poirier at UFC 291 for the BMF title.
