MANHART’s BMW X6 M Competition Is Carbon Fiber Crazy

MANHART’s BMW X6 M Competition Is Carbon Fiber Crazy

Following on from last week’s one-off BMW M5 CS conversion, the German tuning arm MANHART is back with its take on the BMW X6 M Competition, dubbed the MHX6 700 WB.

Breaking this name down, we find an X6 M Competition that now packs 730 HP and 900 Nm of torque, derived from a tuned version of the 4.4-liter bi-turbo V8 engine. The extra power also equals extra noise, which is delivered via a new set of four 100mm tailpipes made from stainless steel with flap function and either ceramic or carbon fiber coating.

Elsewhere, MANHART’s inclusion of “WB” in the name results in a carbon fiber wide body kit that’s been applied all around the X6 M Competition. A 24-piece kit made from forged carbon in the style of polished marble makes up a new front spoiler, radiator grille, two-part rear spoiler, rear diffuser, side skirts, multi-part wing extensions, exterior mirror housings, and more, coming together to decorate the exterior alongside the brand’s signature decals that contrast the new “Matte Charcoal Metallic” wrap.

Not one for subtlety, the tuning brand adds “Satin Black” Concave One rims measuring 22″ at the front and rear, while a suspension lowering of 30mm makes the car look even more aggressive and well-stanced. Inside, you’ll find plenty more forged carbon comprised of 12 unique components adorning areas such as the dashboard, center console, and door panels, as well as on the back of the seats and even on the steering wheel and its accompanying paddle shifters.

The MHX6 700 WB will be limited to just 10 units, and currently just one is up for sale on MANHART’s website for €220,150 EUR (approx. $260,000 USD). The car will also be on display from September 7 to September 14 at the IAA Mobility 2021 in Munich, Germany.

Elsewhere in the automotive world, Smit Vehicle Engineering has given the legendary BMW Z8 a coupe rework.
