Another day, another MANHART custom — only this MH8 800 LIMITED 01/10 is more than just a simple power-centric conversion, it’s a way to show what the German tuning company can do when it’s let loose on a car such as the BMW M8 Competition.
First and foremost, car nuts will notice how this particular version isn’t finished in MANHART’s signature black and gold color scheme. Instead, it opts for a matte blue paint job with plenty of carbon fiber working the bonnet with the new “GTR” air outlets, as well as the front spoiler, side skirts, and rear diffuser.
Secondly, this car is “LIMITED” to just ten units, each customizable to the requests of the car’s very special owner. This example is fitted with color-coded 21″ MANHART “Spider” rims and more blue accents inside, and sits lower than standard on adjustable springs.
As for power, this is where MANHART has really excelled itself. The M8 Competition’s four-liter bi-turbo V8 usually produces an already impressive 625 HP and 750 Nm of torque, but now with the MH8 800, these figures have been upped to 823 HP and 1,070 Nm. Sound comes out the rear via four carbon fiber-clad 100mm exhaust pipes, while rounding out the car is the typical MANHART decal set.
