MANHART Unleashes 550 HP Toyota Supra GR

MANHART has unveiled its latest project, the Supra GR 550. While Toyota may not be the first name that comes to mind when thinking of Manhart, known predominantly for its BMW customizations, this partnership isn’t as unexpected as it seems. The Toyota GR Supra shares a significant amount of its DNA with BMW, most notably its engine, making it an ideal candidate for MANHART’s tuning expertise.

At the core of the Supra GR 550 is the BMW B58 engine, which has undergone a significant transformation. The in-house turbo performance kit, featuring a turbo upgrade, a MANHART radiator kit with aluminum charge pipes by Wagner Tuning and a MANHART carbon intake by ARMAspeed, ensures the engine remains cool while delivering an oxygen-rich air supply. This results in a highly capable 550 hp and 567 lb-ft of torque — up from the standard 340 hp and 368 lb-ft.

To complement its newfound power, the Supra GR 550 sports a MANHART stainless steel exhaust system by FI Exhaust, featuring valve control and four 100 mm black tailpipes, promising an auditory experience as exciting as its performance. Visually, the GR 550 has been extensively reimagined. The car now sits on MANHART’s Concave One rims, paired with a lowered suspension courtesy of MANHART’s collaboration with H&R and KW. The aggressive stance is further enhanced by a comprehensive carbon body kit, including a front spoiler, rear wing and striking red-accented trim against the white body.

Details on price and availability for the new Supra GR 550 are available upon request through MANHART’s official site.
