Manchester United will dismiss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer from his current position at Old Trafford, according to reports.
The Norwegian boss was already under huge pressure after the Red Devils’ humiliating defeats against Liverpool and Manchester City.
However, his side reached a new low this season when they lost 4-1 against Watford on Saturday.
Joshua King and Ismaila Sarr scored a goal each in the first half before Joao Pedro and Emmanuel Dennis also earned their names on the scoresheet to claim an emphatic victory for the home side.
United are said to have called an emergency board meeting after that humiliating loss.
As per The Sun, Solskjaer has managed his final match in charge of the Manchester side and he will be dismissed within the next 48 hours.
It is said that firing the 48-year-old will cost the Red Devils a hefty £7.5 million after he penned a three-year contract in the summer.
The Norwegian football expert took over at United after the dismissal of Jose Mourinho in the middle of the 2018-19 season.
He led the Premier League giants to a third-place finish in his first full season before guiding them to second position in the league last term.
However, Solskjaer failed to deliver results at Old Trafford this campaign despite the club’s heavy investments in the summer transfer window.
And now The Sun is claiming that he will lose his job by the end of Monday.
