FIFA Mobile has a new mode for users that would rather work from the sideline than play out on the field. EA has launched Manager Mode, allowing users to experience what it’s like to oversee the team, from creating a strategic plan to making real-time adjustments on the field.
A trailer for the mode showcases how managers can choose to tactfully employ their players in an “attack” or can consciously make the decision when it’s time to “counter” the other team’s advances.
“There are 4 preset Tactics: Attacking, Control, Counter, and Defensive,” EA said. “Once you start adjusting the details within a Preset Tactic, you’re now creating a Custom Tactic. Choosing your Tactics depends on your team’s strengths and weaknesses, your opponent, and the game situation.”
Manager Mode also allows users to queue multiple matches. Once you’ve completed a match, a countdown will automatically trigger and you’ll enter a new match.
In addition to the new mode, the latest FIFA Mobile update has upgraded its goalkeepers and introduced a player switching option.
Manager Mode is currently available on FIFA Mobile for Android and iOS.
In other gaming news, Activision Blizzard has reportedly canceled its World of Warcraft mobile game.
