Man arrested for stabbing fellow concertgoer multiple times at metalcore show

A 36-year-old man by the name of John Guerrero has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault stemming from a December 27th incident in which he allegedly stabbed a fellow concertgoer at a metalcore show in San Antonio, Texas.

The concert at the venue Paper Tiger featured headliners Life Cycles, along with sets from the bands Fear of Loss, Voracious Contempt, Crossways 3000, and Public Threat.

According to investigators, Guerrero and the 21-year-old victim got into a physical altercation inside Paper Tiger, and police were dispatched to the venue after receiving a call just after 10 p.m. There, they found the younger man outside the venue with multiple stab wounds. The victim was rushed to the hospital, where he was in stable condition and expected to recover.

When officers arrived, Guerrero was still at the venue, where he was pointed out by other concertgoers and taken into custody. A police report notes that he was in possession of a knife upon being apprehended.
