Stephen Malbon, co-founder of Malbon Golf, took to his Instagram to tease a set of bespoke golf clubs.
Malbon Golf has fabricated a set of forged irons with Japan-based company U-Golf, an artisanal brand with iron factories in Himeji, Japan known for building high-grade golf clubs. This one-of-one set is stamped with the Malbon script logo signature on the opposite side of the clubface and the profile design utilizes U-Golf’s U-Muscle 01 option. U-Golf explains the technology as a handling characteristic; the middle part of the face is forgiving, and the sweet spot offers optimal flex and responsiveness. lastly, this golf club also boasts iron-forged S25C steel and gives a stocky feel for the user.
If you are looking to customize a set of irons, visit U-Golf’s official website. The U-Muscle 01 irons are available in 4i-PW varieties and priced at ¥15,000 JPY (approximately $135 USD) each.
