Madonna and the Roots Play “Music” With Classroom Instruments on Fallon

Madonna was a guest on last night’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. After sitting down for an interview with Jimmy Fallon, the pop icon joined the host and the Roots to play her 2000 single “Music” using classroom instruments. Watch that happen below.

Madonna recently collaborated with Beyoncé on “The Queens Remix” of “Break My Soul,” and, while speaking with Fallon, she revealed that she’d like to work with one of Beyoncé’s esteemed peers: “There’s one artist that I worship more than anything in life, and I would love to collaborate with him, and that’s Kendrick Lamar,” Madonna revealed. “His new record is history-making, mind-bogglingly brilliant” she continued, referring to Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers. “So talented.”

Earlier this year, Madonna released the compilation Finally Enough Love. Next week, on August 19, she’ll release an expanded edition of the compilation, Finally Enough Love: 50 Number Ones.
