Louis Vuitton Is Releasing a New Mobile Game Celebrating Its Founder’s 200th Birthday

The most recent fashion and gaming crossover is Louis Vuitton’s new mobile game. Titled Louis: The Game, it was created in celebration of the upcoming 200th birthday of the house’s founder.

The game stars the House’s mascot Vivienne, a wooden doll adorned with the flower motif from the house’s monogram. In the game, Vivienne treks through the long history of Louis Vuitton by completing various quests, according to Kurier. Additionally, the game is set to feature a number of embedded NFT’s, according to WWD, though no additional details on the blockchain service have been provided.

On August 4, Louis Vuitton’s birthday, the game will be available in the iOS and Android app stores. Louis: The Game comes after the house’s Endless Runner game, which debuted in 2019. The game was created in tandem with Virgil Abloh’s FW19 runway collection, featuring a retro 16-bit style gameplay. The game is still up and running on Louis Vuitton’s website.

In related news, Panic has opened up pre-orders for the Playdate.
