Sony’s HT-AX7 is a Portable Surround Sound System

Sony has brought the experience of a surround sound system to those on the go. The company has a new speaker that contains three different speakers, designed to be portable while still capable of filling a space with sound.

A user will place the main speaker of the HT-AX7 Portable Theatre System in front of them and the two smaller speakers to the left and right. The device then uses Sony’s spatial sound mapping technology to emit audio in 360 degrees. It also has an “upmixer algorithm” that makes it feel like the sound is being emitted from overhead.

For those seeking a home theater feel, Sony’s HT-AX7 Portable Theatre System is available online now for $499 USD.

SteelSeries Drops Super Limited White and Gold Apex Pro Mini Keyboard

SteelSeries unveiled its new keyboard, released in an extremely limited run of just 250 units. The Apex Pro Mini, the brand’s flagship gaming keyboard, arrives in a new “White x Gold” colorway, a straightforward and clean design emphasizing its Scandinavian roots.

Building on SteelSeries’ updates to the keyboard over the years, this model boasts 40 levels of customization, as well as a Rapid Trigger mode that makes typing even faster. The “White x Gold” Apex Pro Mini is available on the brand’s website for $379.99 USD.

Louis Vuitton Launched the Portable Nanogram Speaker

In another speaker release, Louis Vuitton debuted its own portable model. The LV Nanogram Speakers serve to not only provide clean sound but also serve as a piece of home decor. Despite being lightweight, the speakers seem built to rest on a coffee table or bookshelf with a glossy, diamond-shaped design. That being said, if one wants to bring them on the go, they only weigh 1.14 lb (520 grams).

The LV logo is imprinted onto the grill of the speaker, while flower monograms adorn the metal ring surrounding it. The Nanogram also features a beige leather carrying strap and naturally, a luggage-style LV case to protect it.

The LV Nanogram speaker is priced at $2,230 USD and comes in three colorways: silver, rose gold and green.
