Melbourne blues rock outfit Tropical F**k Storm sweeps into the Top 10 with Deep States (TFS/Universal), new at No. 7, for a new chart best. It’s the third album from the “supergroup,” comprised of members from The Drones, High Tension, MOD CON, Harmony, and Palm Springs.

U.S. rapper Trippie Redd makes his first appearance in the ARIA Albums Chart Top Ten with Trip At Knight (Universal), arriving at No. 9.

Legendary country artist Slim Dusty makes a posthumous appearance to the chart with the compilation Gone Fishin’ (EMI/Universal). It’s new at No. 11. The late ARIA Hall Of Famer last charted with the soundtrack Slim & I, which hit No. 8 in September 2020.

Meanwhile, Aussie folk duo Angus & Julia Stone return with Life Is Strange (BMG/ADA), their first album in four years. The soundtrack to the video game Life Is Strange: True Colors, it’s new at No. 16.

Over on the ARIA Singles Chart, The Kid Laroi and Justin Bieber’s “Stay” (Columbia/Sony) enters a seventh week at No. 1, ahead of two Ed Sheeran tracks, “Bad Habits” and “Visiting Hours,” respectively (both via Atlantic/Warner).

Visiting Hours, a tribute to the late Mushroom Group founder Michael Gudinski, is the highest charting new release this week (at No. 3) and becomes Sheeran’s 22nd Top 10 single in Australia.

A week after opening at No. 7, Elton John and Dua Lipa’s “Cold Heart” (Warner/Universal), remixed by Sydney trio Pnau, vaults to No. 4.

Finally, Clinton Kane makes his ARIA Top 50 debut with “I Guess I’m In Love” (Columbia/Sony), opening at No. 27. The Perth-raised newcomer has already cracked the U.S. charts with his assist on DJ Martin Garrix’s “Drown,” which peaked at No. 12 on the Billboard Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart in March 2020, and with his solo single “Chicken Tendies,” which reached No. 88 on the Billboard Hot 100 earlier in the year. “I Guess I’m In Love” also cracks the Official U.K. Singles Chart at No. 22.
