The set, the followup to 2017’s Truth Is a Beautiful Thing, was initially slated for release Feb. 12.
Co-produced by English electronic musician George FitzGerald, California Soil features the previously-released single “Baby It’s You,” the title track and “Lose Your Head,” which premiered earlier this week on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show.
London Grammar were founded at Nottingham University and formed by Reid, Dan Rothman and Dot Major. Plaudits came fast and in bunches, initially with the release of their debut album If You Wait, which peaked at No. 2 in the U.K.; and for Truth, which led the Official U.K. Albums Chart on its release.
Their signature 2013 single “Strong” won a coveted Ivor Novello Award for best song musically and lyrically. Watch the official video for “Lose Your Head” below.
