Logic Signs His Dad, Robert Bryson Hall, To Bobby Boy Records

Logic Signs His Dad, Robert Bryson Hall, To Bobby Boy Records

Robert Bryson Hall, the father of Logic, is the newest signee of his son’s Bobby Boy Records.

Announcing the news during a tour stop, Logic explained to the crowd the reasoning behind his dad’s signing to his record label. He shared that he once asked his father why he always asked him for money, to which Hall answered, “‘I don’t know. I think it’s just the fact that I’m financially insecure, because I wanna leave a legacy for your little brother.’”

“So I said, ‘You know what, Dad? I’m gonna do an album with you.’ I’m gonna teach you about Black ownership and what it means to run a business,” the artist continued.

“Dad, I want to make sure that you’re safe and we make this album, that you are protected and you have the greatest lawyers in the f*cking business. And I wanna sign my father at 69 years old to Bobby Boy Records right now and give him what he always wanted,” Logic added, followed by a clip of his dad signing the papers on stage. “There it is, motherf*cker, I love you. Your dream came true, daddy.”
