Logic Fully Returns from Retirement With ‘Bobby Tarantino III’

Shortly after announcing his return from retirement with a Michael Jordan-inspired notice, Logic has dropped off his newest project Bobby Tarantino III.

The 12-track project clocks in at approximately 35 minutes and include only one guest appearance from Cynthia Erivio on “Inside.” The record includes the previously-released singles “Vaccine,” “Get Up,” “My Way” and “Call Me,” as well as a tribute to Cowboy Bebop with the track “See You Space Cowboy…”

Bobby Tarantino III is the first project in the mixtape series in three years, and follows the release of his supposed retirement album No Pressure in July 2020. Prior to the announcement of his return, Logic was active as a Twitch streamer thanks to a multi-million deal and he spent some time releasing loosies such as “Tired in Malibu,” “My Favorite Song” and several Madlib-assisted cuts like “Mars Only pt. 3,” “Raddest Dad” and “Mafia Music,” which are supposedly precursors to a MadGic collab album. In mid-June, the artist took to Twitter to share a press release inspired by MJ’s 1995 NBA return, writing, “The following statement was released today by Logic through his attorney Paul Rothenberg Partner of Rothenberg, Mohr & Binder, LLP located in NYC, in response to questions about his future career plans: ‘I’m back.’”

Stream Logic’s Bobby Tarantino III on Spotify and Apple Music.

In other new music releases, stream Billie Eilish’s second studio effort Happier Than Ever.
