The latest South Park special for Paramount+, South Park: The End of Obesity, has arrived, unleashing its comedic ire on all the major players in the weight-loss industry, from Ozempic and Mounjaro to pop star Lizzo and her message of body positivity. For her part, Lizzo has officially responded to the jokes.
The jab at Lizzo comes when it’s revealed that her persona as a cheaper alternative to Ozempic, one which won’t result in any actual weight loss, but can make you “no longer care about weight.” Cartman is prescribed the Lizzo treatment, with his doctor recommending “to listen to Lizzo five times a day,” before warning, “I’m afraid you’ll have to be on Lizzo for the rest of your life.” Later in the episode, Cartman laments that “rich people get Ozempic, poor people get body positivity.”
Responding to the jokes, though, Lizzo took pride in the reference. In a TikTok showing her watching the fake “Lizzo medication” ad, she replied, “I just feel like, damn, I’m really that bitch. I really showed the world how to love yourself and not give a fuck, to the point where these men in Colorado know who the fuck I am and put it on their cartoon that’s been around for 25 years.”

Continuing, Lizzo closed on a message of inspiration. “I’m really that bitch and I show y’all how to not give a fuck and I’ma keep on showing y’all how to not give a fuck,” she declared, before singing a jingle that presumably was supposed to be the fake “Lizzo medication” jingle based on the Ozempic jingle, but honestly sounds a whole lot more like the “Oh oh oh O’Reilly” auto parts jingle.

Elsewhere in the special, South Park’s Trey Parker and Matt Stone included a joke about Lizzo’s music giving listeners “diabEARties,” and explosive diarrhea out of the ears, which feels par for the course. There’s also a scene spoofing The Lost Boys.
Meanwhile, Lizzo is still in the midst of her legal troubles, after her request to dismiss her sexual harassment lawsuit was denied. Her legal team appealed that decision, and the case is currently paused.
