A first look at the new e-bike from Amsterdam-based label VanMoof has surfaced online. The new bike was teased by London-based rapper and star of Top Boy Little Simz, who posted two pictures showing her riding the updated model around Amsterdam. Little Simz is the latest creative to be seen riding a VanMoof, with Frank Ocean, Simon Porte Jacquemus and Tyler, The Creator all fans of the brand.
Little is known about the new bike, believed to be the S4, although VanMoof has also posted a cryptic “save the date” to its website. Revealing that full details will be revealed on April 5, the Dutch company adds that “the next generation of VanMoof e-bikes is almost here” before describing the announcement as its “biggest-ever reveal.” The bike has been in development for two years, and continues VanMoof’s stated ambition of making cycling the preferred way to move around cities.
The full save the date can be seen on the VanMoof website, where you can also sign up for access to watch the unveiling April 5.
