Little Mix gave fans a “Heartbreak Anthem” with Galantis and David Guetta, but the pregnant members of the girl group felt a different kind of pain during the video shoot.
In an official behind-the-scenes clip from the music video, Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock — who are both pregnant — reveal how cumbersome pulling off the video was, especially the wardrobe and mechanical angel wings.
“I’m literally living my childhood dream right now in this music video. The glitz, the glamour, the hair is so crazy, the outfits and the wings. We are going to be like creatures,” Edwards says in the video before thinking about how the glitz and glam might weigh on her throughout the shoot. “It’s just the start. We haven’t started filming yet. So ask me in a few hours how uncomfortable and how in pain I am, because this dress weighs, I think they said, a stone.” (A stone is a unit of measurement used in England, which is equivalent to 14 pounds.)
