Just three months after dropping their debut project It’s Us Vol. 1, Lil Yachty‘s The Concrete Boys have found themselves amid some structural changes. After growing fan speculation on social media, Boat has confirmed that KARRAHBOOO is no longer a part of the budding rap collective.
The announcement of the leading lady’s departure arrives after her absence from the group’s Broccoli City Festival performance in Washington D.C. over the weekend; she shared a post on her Instagram story a few days before the festival stating she would not be in attendance. Broccoli City wasn’t the first performance she’s sat out from, as Big BOOO noticeably began to step back from the group’s live appearances in recent weeks.
Fans went one step further and uncovered that BOOO had also unfollowed the other rappers in the group – Yachty, DC2Trill, Camo! and Draft Day – on Instagram, with the official Concrete Boys Instagram account unfollowing her in return and removing her name from the profile bio.
Yesterday, Yachty hopped on live to address the situation once and for all, confirming her exit from the Crete.
“How do I wanna say this? Imma say this sh*t one time. We have split ways with Karrah as far as this Concrete sh*t,” he began on the stream. “I have nothing bad to say. Nothing negative to say about Karrah. I wish her the best in her career… That’s pretty much it. I don’t have anything bad to say. Or anything good to say.”
However, some are convinced it’s all a publicity stunt for the rapper’s forthcoming debut LP, presumably entitled Where’s KARRAHBOOO?
