Lil Uzi Vert‘s Pink Tape might earn the honor of becoming 2023’s first No. 1 hip-hop album.
According to HITS Daily Double, the 26-track effort will earn a total of 167,000 equivalent album units in its first week to end Morgan Wallen’s nonconsecutive 15-week run at No. 1. Pink Tape features guest appearances from Travis Scott on “Aye,” Nicki Minaj on “Endless Fashion,” Bring Me The Horizon on “Werewolf,” Don Toliver on “Patience” and BABYMETAL on “The End,” and arrives almost three years after Uzi first announced the project.
Earlier in the week, the artist took to Instagram Story to tease fans that if Pink Tape goes No. 1, they will “drop [the] album [y’all] really looking for.” It remains to be seen if they will follow through with their promise and what project they will drop next.
In other Uzi news, they will be hitting the road for a 17-stop Pink Tape tour.
