Lil Simz Reintroduces Herself on “Hello, Hi”

Lil Simz Reintroduces Herself on "Hello, Hi"

Lil Simz has shared her first solo cut since her impressive Drop 7 EP. Entitled “Hello, Hi,” Simz surprised listeners with the drop earlier in the week – possibly indicating the start of a new project for the London-based rapper.

“New one! Hello, Hi 🤲🏿 OUT NOW On all platforms. See you in 25’ 🥂❤️,” Simz wrote in an Instagram post.

With production by SHYY and Rigas, “Hello, Hi” sees Simz spitting over a guitar-heavy beat, reflecting on her success.

“I just want my ends, and I want Miu Miu with the same damn bop / Tell me, why they all dress the same? Carbon copy thesis,” she delivers on the first verse, making reference to her Miu Miu walk earlier this year. “I cut you with a Japanese silhouette, I know you ain’t never seen these pieces / SS Simz ‘25, you ain’t never seen this season.”

The track lands after a particularly momentous year for Simz, who made strides not only in the music realm but also in the high fashion world as well. In addition to her Miu Miu runway walk back in July, the rapper also attended her first-ever Met Gala back in May.

Stream “Hello, Hi” on all DSPs now and stay tuned to Hypebeast to see what she’s got in store for 2025.
