When Lil Nas X wiped his Instagram page clean, fans suspected the musician was readying an imminent release. After then teasing his “Christian Era” on X at the end of November, fans were unsure if he was serious or not; he officially confirmed the new music speculations last week, again taking to the platform to announce “the greatest comeback of all time,” – which today officially surfaced as a Christian-coded cut. Dubbed “J CHRIST,” the track is accompanied by quite the cover art.
“MY NEW SINGLE IS DEDICATED TO THE MAN WHO HAD THE GREATEST COMEBACK OF ALL TIME!” the singer wrote in an Instagram caption, revealing the track’s title and cover art – which depicts the musician mirroring Jesus Christ’s crucifixion.
“i know it’s been 2 years but….y’all ready for a show?” Lil Nas X wrote in a message on X. As for what else we know thus far about “J CHRIST,” the track is slated to feature one of Lil Nas X’s favorite artists.
