Lexus has revealed a few sneak peeks of its latest limited edition offering, the 2024 LC 500 Inspiration Series, which draws from the lineage of the renowned flagship coupe and convertible of the same name.
The automotive maker shared that the goal of its upcoming offering is to showcase a “unique aesthetic that thoughtfully blends design with performance,” exemplified through the vehicle’s front bumper canards and a coupe-exclusive carbon fiber fixed rear wing.
Set to release as both a coupe and convertible, the coupe shown in the sneak peek is dressed in a white “Polar Surge Satin” exterior finish and paired with a “Deep Blue” interior, a color scheme the convertible model is said to mimic with a blue fabric top. Black accents stand out against the matte white finish, most notably the vehicle’s carbon fiber wing and the standard 21-inch matte black forged wheels.
From a performance standpoint, the LC 500 Inspiration Series draws on Lexus’s storied racing history, namely through aerodynamic refinements, a Torsen limited-slip differential and performance dampers — all of which build upon Lexus Driving Signature, designed to provide heightened vehicle response and a superior driving experience.
Interior refinements include plush leather sports seats trimmed in Alcantara with contrasting grey stitching. Lexus expressed that its goal was to provide a “meditative in-cabin experience,” which is elevated by its Mark Levinson 13-speaker audio system. In addition to this, the LC 500 will feature carbon fiber accents on the scuff plate doors and a serialized badge on the center console that indicates rarity.
The special edition, limited to just 125 units for North America, is set to arrive at dealerships by early fall 2023 and will start at a retail price of $116,700 USD for the coupe version and $121,900 USD for its convertible counterpart.
