Seven-time Formula One (F1) champion Lewis Hamilton has tested positive for COVID-19.
The official Twitter handle of F1 confirmed the development in a tweet on Monday night.
“Lewis Hamilton will miss this weekend’s Sakhir Grand Prix in Bahrain after a positive test for Covid-19,” F1 tweeted.
Hamilton is now self-isolating and will miss this weekend’s Sakhir Grand Prix in Bahrain.
His replacement driver is yet to be announced.
