New music festival LETSGETFR.EE Carnaval has announced its inaugural lineup that features headliners Missy Elliott, Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, Wizkid and more.

Founded by AFROPUNK festivals ex-head Matthew Morgan and Jocelyn Cooper, the festival seeks to bring a diversity-focused experience to music festivals. Set to take place at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens, New York, the lineup also includes Kali Uchis, Jhené Aiko, Ozuna, Jorja Smith, Flatbush Zombies, Major Lazer, GoldLink and more. As a purpose-driven music festival, LETSGETFR.EE Carnaval’s mission is to close the equity gap for Black, Brown, Asian and any underrepresented group in the entertainment industry.
The festival aims to achieve a more diverse industry by 2030 and is solely partnering with companies and brands who share the same mission. Taking place August 20-21, the two-day festival features several stages, edutainment programs and more. Starting at $69 USD, the presale for Queens residents begins on Tuesday, March 8 at 10:00 AM ET, while the general public sale begins Wednesday, March 9 at 10:00 AM ET.
