LeBron James Shows Out in First Drew League Game Since 2011

At 38 years old, Lebron James is heading into his 20th season in the NBA next year. Looking to get some runs in during the off-season, James returns to Los Angeles pro-am summer basketball tournament, the Drew League, for the first time since 2011.

Joined by Chicago Bulls All-Star DeMar DeRozan on the MMV Cheaters team, James put on a clinic, dropping 42 points, 16 rebounds, and 4 steals, leading his squad to a narrow 104-102 victory while trailing 6 points heading into the 4th quarter. Playing in a packed-out gym with fans flooding over the baselines, DeRozan contributed an impressive stat line of his own with 30 points and 14 rebounds. There to witness the action were Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green and Quavo among others. Kyrie Irving was set to play later in the day but ended up missing the game.
