LeBron James is no stranger to breaking records in the NBA. Following his recent two-year maximum deal that earns the King $104 million USD, James is now the only player in the history of the league to have a career earning of half a billion dollars.
At the end of the last season, James was recorded to earn $479,466,457 USD in salary throughout his entire NBA career. With his upcoming $104 million USD salary, it will take him over the $500 million USD earnings cap. At the moment, there is no other NBA player that has even reached $400 million USD in earnings just yet. A lot of James’ earning also comes from his endorsement deals and other business ventures off the court.
In 2022, it was reported that he had already reached billionaire status. With his lifetime Nike deal alone, he is approximately worth $1 billion USD. With his Beats deal, he made $30 million USD when Apple purchased the company for $3 billion USD in 2014. On the court, James recently set major records, including becoming the only player to have 40,000 points, 10,000 rebounds and 10,000 assists. He is also the leader in playoff wins and the league’s all-time scoring leader. Currently, James is gearing up for the upcoming Olympics in Paris.
